Nicole Richie models for Mercury Duo's spring summer 09 line ad campaign in summer inspired shoot. She looks gorgeously cute; these pictures are making me yearn for summer even more than usual! I love the dress in the first picture the most I think, visit the website here where you can shop online however its all in Japanese and therefore I don't understand a word of it, or understand the prices. Maybe someone knows of a UK or US stockist? Sorry there are so many pictures, I couldn't decide between them all as I love them so much! See more here and here.

Hmmmm..

I'm having kind of issues at the moment.... Firstly I couldn't think of a title for this post that would fit, but also I'm a bit disappointed in myself that I'm not updating this blog as much as I would like to. So, since it is rent, although I am giving something up too (more on that in a bit), I am going to pledge to post more, and more interestingly too! I think I will do a post about the Oscar dresses in a bit becuase some were truly fabulous, whereas some were...not so fabulous...!

But the main issue I am having at the moment, is that I am giving up shopping for rent!! And that's a BIG deal for me!! I mean, obv I love fashion, and for me at least shopping is a big part of that! But I'm trying to save money for my holiday (I'm going to florida again in the summer so I want loads of $$), and tbh it's not really working for me. I am not a saving money kind of person, I'm a spending person myself! So i thought i would try not to buy anything for 40 days and instead put my allowance into my piggy bank (it's one of those ones you have to smash to get into so I absolutely hate putting money in!). I thought it was going to be awful until I heard that whatever you give up for lent, you are allowed to have in moderation on Sundays, so all I have to do is go shopping on a Sunday if I really must buy something. I'm going to Selfridges on sunday but I'm hoping I will be able to restrain myself! Apart from giving up shopping to save money, everyone at school basically doesn't believe I can do it, so I have to prove them wrong!

Anyway, I'm off to sort out this oscars post, and in future I need to make my posts actually about fashion since this is meant to be a fashion blog in the end.

25 (Well okay 26) Things About Me

This quizy type thing is currently going round facebook, so I thought I'd share mine with you guys.

1. I swear I'm one of the few people that a ctually enjoy RS, even though I hate religion.
2. I have to turn all empty plugs off, and the one at the bottom of my stairs bugs me because it's always on.
3. I like Red Bull and Coke, but only diet cos it tastes nicer.
4. I would jump at the chance to re-live years 9 and 10; I think I have learn alot and would do things very differently, and the yr 11 Me would be able to give valuable advice to the younger Me.
5. This year I have made an invaluable set of best friends that I hope I never lose, and that I will treasure for life: We laugh together, we bitch together, and we say definitely blonde things together!! Thank you for all you have done =]
6. I spent over $2000 in Florida last year without even realizing.
7. I live, breathe, and dream fashion 24/7, and when I say fashion I do not mean whatever everyone else is wearing, but whatever speaks to me whilst I am getting dressed.
8. By the end of this year, I wish to own a vintage Chanel bag and a glorious pair of Christian Louboutins.
9. Unfortunately I think it's only wishful thinking.
10. I day dream too much, and often forget whether events are real or imagined.
11. I am somewhat a tad hormonal =].
12. I am wearing a proper princess ball gown to prom, and I don't care if I am too overdressed.
13. I can recall, for each and every item in my wardrobe, which shop it came from, where i bought it, how much it was and other details about it.
14. I finally pulled the sticker off my iphone cos it was pissing me off too much.

16.I love reading, and no, I'm not a geek.

25. Apparently I appear to be a bitch; get to know me first please and then form an opinion on me, rather than vice versa. The only way to get to know me properly is to be honest with me.

Mmmmm...

I am totally lusting after this goregous baggy topshop sequiny dress!! I'm meant to be saving for shopping on my holiday to florida in the summer but topshop keep tempting me with theirbleached acid skinnys and baggy long tops. How yummy would this look with grey ankle booties or even just skinny jeans, pumps and a leather jacket? Unfortunately I dont think i ought to buy it unless i return some new bits i recently bought but if you any of you lovelies want to buy it just click here.

I also found out something interesting which got me very excited, however this only applies for those of you fashionistas that live in or near london. There is this place right near finsbury park tube station in North London where there is a whole road called fonthill road that sell wholesale prom, bridesmaid and wedding dresses to big chain shops like debenhams where they sell them for like £300 in-store, and on saturdays and in some shops during the week they sell to the public at a very reduced price, most dresses are about £130. There is also a store there with the old Lipsy logo on the front, and it is basically a lipsy outlet or discount store, but the dresses arent old season, they are exactly the same ones they are selling in Selfridges and Topshop for £65,except they are literally between £5 and £25!! They also have factory seconds which have faults on them but they are only tiny like holes in the lining or w/e, and they sell those for £5!! Yesterday I went up again with my best friend and i bought three dresses for £35 altogether when they should have been £155 all together if i bought them in a normal store!! It is crazy up there they have so many dresses in all sizes, only problem is you can try them on or return them but you can exchange them for other dresses, so if you live near there I would definitely advise going up there. 

You can take the victoria line to Finsbury Park tube station, then take the exit that says fonthill road inside the tube station, come out and turn right onto the main road and then take the first right onto Fonthill Road and walk up on that side of the road till you get to the Lipsy store. You'll get what I mean if you go there! I should be going up in half term so I'll try and take some pictures in there, soon I'll put up some pictures of the dresses I bought.

Love is in the air....

...but not for me unfortunately! 

So valentines day is less than 10 days away, and although I'm single, seeing all the cute cards, teddies and chocolates still makes me feel all mushy inside! But i'm writing about something that makes me even more mushy inside than valentines goodies.... Moschino's LOVE MOSCHINO range! How perfect are these accessories from love moschino for your outfit on valentines day, and all year round??

I love the clutch so much, there are more love items but these two are my favourites.

You can buy love moschino at Harrods, Harvey Nichols and House of Fraser (in westfield london). You can also buy the range online at revolve clothing but these items are from the s/s 09 collection so I don't think they are instore yet.
