wish list

ahhhhhh i owe you, my dear and oh so appreciated readers, (uhh are there any left?!) a long awaited apology, been a busy busy bee this week and so unfortunately no time to blog. put together a little high street wish list for you to feast your delighted little eyes upon. maybe a designer version to follow? although that would be a rather long list...

it's currently the summer holidays as i'm sure you are aware, and lucky ole' me is going paint balling tomorrow for a friend's birthday! or should that be pain balling? a lot of cheerful people have told me that it is frightfully painful, and you come away covered in bruises. i'm a wuss. which means i'll probably be hiding under a fake rock the majority of the time. joy. also looking forward to going to london zoo next week with my bestie amy. think we'll also explore a couple of vintagey shops in londres so i'll be sure to show off my purchases if i do well!

can't get enough of longline bras at the moment, this floral one seems really practical as its actually padded (the lace one is just that - just thin lace). i'm too self conscious and england's too cold for nip nips. but i think i will buy the pink one and wear another bra underneath or sew in some padding. will wear under baggy drop arm white tanks and dresses. or perhaps with a high waisted skirt if i'm feeling daring.

these basic pieces are such simple wardrobe staples, yet look so effortlessly chic. i'm starting sixth form in september and for the first time in my school life i get to wear my own clothes (yay!). how perfect would all these things be?

Playsuits

I know playsuits have been around (trend-wise) for a while now, but I admit I've never really felt the urge. Seeing some celebrities pull them off makes me want to try one, but I did try one once and just thought "never again", it totally didn't suit me...

But now topshop are coming up with some lovely jumpsuit delights, and strangely enough, the one I really want is not me at all. To me, there's something so whimsical and 'old school' about playsuits that makes me think perhaps I should venture out of my normal palette of various shades of grey and black tights (pretty much my uniform...).
