Love this outfit

I just found this super cute picture of Mary-Kate Olsen in a sweet little nautical stripy dress which works really well with black tights and black heels. I also love the contrast of her red nails but how they match her wayfarers and bracelet. I love how with Mary-Kate, she wears contrasting items but she'll wear like more than one time of each colour so that she matches at the same time as not matching, if that makes any sense at all lol? I found this image here which is why its edited but i couldn't find it anywhere else online so I couldn't' get the original copy. This blog is great if you love the Olsen twins, a lot of pictures of them out and about and some outfit styling as well if you want inspiration from their outfits.

A New Blog

How Cute Is This?!?

I guess you could say that I am somewhat of a blog addict; although I keep forgetting to get around to actually personally blog, I check some favourite blogs of mine often more than once a day. I just found a new blog for me to check each day that I loved from the first post I saw, and I'm pretty sure you will too if you don't already read it. 

I say read, but it's actually a photography blog, "dedicated to romantic, sweet, lovey dovey, sexy and heart fluttering images." Below are some of my favourite photographs. Check it out here.

Sex and the City Shoes

I'm sure pretty much all of you have seen the Sex and the City Movie by now, and how much did you love it? I'm also sure that most of you kept your eyes on the fashion in the movie, and therefore you will probably recognise Carrie's shoes:

They are by Christian Dior and retail for about $780, which is about £540. I don't know about you, but unfortunately thats a little out of my price range!! I think she also wears the same pair but in a 'pythony' style leather:

Now the reason I'm writing about these gorgeous shoes now when the film came out aaages ago is pretty much only relevant to those who l

ive in the UK or Ireland. I was in my nearest New Look store the other week (for those of you in the US or elsewhere, its a bit like H&M or Forever 21 but less fashion focused and probably cheaper) and looking at their shoes, when I saw a (pretty much the same) version of Carrie's Dior shoes, for only £30 (or $43) and they are real leather!! So I thought I'd post them on here for anyone who is still looking for a cheaper version of them. They had them in plain black leather like the first picture, black python print like the second picture and a silvery grey python skin print that actually looked really cute! They also have them in brown leather, which I don't personally like, I think they look a bit too 'boho' rather than bold like the other ones, but it seems they have sold out online because they only have the brown ones left. Don't be put off by the picture because in the other colours they do look really nice, so if you live near a new look go in and check them out!!

First Post, First Blog!!

Hi everyone!! This is my first blog, and i hoping to be able to post on it a couple of times a week, hopefully I'll be able to keep up!! As you can tell from the name, it will be about fashion, and so I will be posting about new trends from the runway, celebrities and the high street, latest fashion news, favourite celebrity outfits and im sure much more as the ideas come to me! Please comment any posts you find interesting, and include tips on how you think I can improve the blog!!

Now, a little bit about me:

My name is Katy, I'm 15 and live just outside London, in the UK. My favourite celebrities for fashion are Nicole Richie, the Olsen Twins, Alexa Chung and more that I'm sure will come across in my posts! Favourite designer of all time has to be Chanel, I know I would cry for days if i somehow was given/bought/found a 2.55 bag (in black or red if you're feeling generous!) and I also love Marc Jacobs for clothes. Unfortunately I can't possibly afford to constantly wear designer clothes as some lucky people are able to do, so I basically live in Topshop!!
